Fangirl would be a great movie! Here's my list: http://bornandread.com/2015/06/02/top-ten-tuesdays-books-as-tvmovies/
It really would! I am so ready to fall in love with a screen version of Levi :D
FANGIRL YESSSS. That would make such a good movie, and I vote for the directors of TFIOS to do it. xDHere's my TTT!
TFIOS was pretty decent, so yeah, I would not mind seeing them direct Fangirl. Thanks for stopping by Cait :)
I've seen Fangirl on many, many lists today! I liked it when I read it, but it didn't cross my mind until I saw it so many times today. Now, you've all got me thinking...Here is my list: http://insearchoftheendofthesidewalk.com/2015/06/01/top-ten-tuesday-top-ten-books-id-love-to-see-as-moviestv-shows/
I think it would make a great indie film if it got a suitable cast and production team. Can't really see it as mainstream film like TFIOS. What they have done with Me, Earl and the Dying Girl looks like something that could work with Fangirl as well. Thanks for stopping by! :)
I'm ashamed to say that I haven't read any of these. A lot of them are on my TBR (and on my physical shelves) but have not yet been read :( I love your graphics, they look really cute. I must get reading immediately, I think I'll Meet You There or Simon Vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda have got to be first! Happy Reading (and watching!)
Well, you are in for a treat! So many of these books are ones I wish I could read again for the first time. Thanks - I've been trying to make the blog visually more appealing, not quite sure whether I have found the perfect combo yet :)Both I'll Meet You There and Simon Vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda are brilliant and no doubt will make an appearance on my best of 2015 list. Thanks for stopping by!
I'm kind of surprised there hasn't been a movie or TV adaptation of any of Rowell's books. She writes such great characters. I enjoyed the 2 movies that were (very very loosely) based on The Princess Diaries but I definitely think it'd be fun to see something that was closer to the books.
Rowell's book and characters would make great indie films. I am now reading the new Meg Cabot Princess Diaries book and oh my, I really need more Mia and Michael on screen! Thanks for stopping by Katherine!
I haven't read most of these, but I definitely agree about I'll Meet You There! I love the book! The Princess Diaries would be a fun TV show. I love the book and I did enjoy the movie, but definitely would like more. I'm sure I would love to see the rest of these as movies and TV shows after I read them, pretty much every single book on your list are ones I want to read! :DGreat picks!Stephanie My TTT
I'll Meet You There could be such a touching movie and actually quite poignant if the socio-economical background of the characters would be taken into account within the film. Princess Diaries would make such a brilliant and fun TV show. Though I loved Anne Hathaway as Mia, I would totally be open to open my heart for a new actress playing her if that meant I would get more Princess Diaries goodness. Thanks for stopping by Stephanie! :)
You are the fourth person to have I'll Meet You There on your list! That is IT! I am getting it from the library. Thank you! Our List By the way, I love, love, love the colors and appealing graphics of your website!
You are in for a treat - I'll Meet You There is such a great book!Oh thank you - I've been trying to find a combo that pleases my eye and I think I am finally there. Thanks for stopping by Ricki :)
I almost listed Simon Vs as a TV Show but then moved it to movies...but totally think it could work either way. And a tv show would give us more BLUE! You also have some other great picks on your list. My TTT is here.
I haven't read any of these. But about half of them are on my to-read list, including Fangirl. :)My list is here:http://hiddenstaircase.net/2015/06/02/ttt-top-ten-books-id-love-to-see-as-moviestv-shows/
I haven't read any of these, but now I want to. Princess Diaries would make a great tv show. I can definitely see it adapted for ABC Family, or something.
Fangirl definitely. Just the casting speculations would be fun! :)
These are fantastic choices! I hadn't even thought about Fangirl, but I'd love that. Simon, Open Road Summer, and I'll Meet You There would be great, too. :)
