The Best of 2014

I can't believe it is already time to sum up year 2014 and start to look forward to 2015!
2014 was a pretty good year reading wise - I ended up reading a total of 100 books (my Goodreads goal was 85). I think for 2015 I am going to set up my goal at 85 as well, just because the spring might be quite busy with dissertation work. Hopefully I still find the time to read, especially since it seems like 2015 is full of interesting sounding new releases.

I decided to divide this Best of 2014 list into categories just to make it easier to read. I hope you all find this list interesting and I wish that you leave a comment, sharing some of your 2014 favorites with me.

Happy New Year and thanks for stopping by! :)

  2. Great list! I've been meaning to watch How to Get Away with Murder and True Detective for ages now. Have heard so many good things. Also Her was an excellent film! Blew me away, loved the cinematography. You have great taste in books, movies, tv shows all around! Loved this post.

    1. How to Get Away With Murder is super addicting - much like Shonda Rhimes's other shows Grey's Anatomy and Scandal. Her shows might not be the most realistic ones, but they for sure keep you interested.
True Detective is just a thing of beauty - the cinematography is to die for.

Her really is pretty amazing - Spike Jonze is such a great director!

Thanks for stopping by Shanny! :)

  3. Great lists! Looks like you had an awesome year in books/movies/television shows :) The Grand Budapest Hotel and Captain America: the Winter Soldier definitely topped my list as some of my favourite movies watched this year :) Happy New Year!

    1. Thanks Lianne, I really did have pretty amazing year when it comes to all sorts of entertainment. I continued to love stuff that I already was familiar with and discovered a lot of new stuff to fall in love with :)

Thanks for stopping by and Happy New Year!
