Read-A-Thon: Mid-Event Survey

1. What are you reading right now?
I just finished with Never Cry Werewolf by Heather Davis

2. How many books have you read so far?
Well I have read the Castro and Stalin sections from my history paper 2 revision book and a couple of chapters from my biology book. And then I finished reading Never Cry Werewolf which I started last night by reading the first 40 pages or so.

3. What book are you most looking forward to for the second half of the Read-a-thon?
I have to go to sleep now (it is 2am here in Finland) since I have to work tomorrow with this school project, but I will try to wake up a bit earlier in order to read some more. I think I will start reading Twilight again...

4. Did you have to make any special arrangements to free up your whole day?
Not really, I am on a holiday, but since I have to read for exams I had to spend most of the time reading to those.

5. Have you had many interruptions? How did you deal with those?
Well, I had dinner, but that is pretty much it.

6. What surprises you most about the Read-a-thon, so far?
When reading school books, the read-a-thon seems lot more boring. :/

7. Do you have any suggestions for how to improve the Read-a-thon next year?
Not really.

8. What would you do differently, as a Reader or a Cheerleader, if you were to do this again next year?
I would not read school books (I would take a day of from being the good student)

9. Are you getting tired yet?
Not really, but I have to try to sleep so I get my work finished tomorrow.

10. Do you have any tips for other Readers or Cheerleaders, something you think is working well for you that others may not have discovered?
Keep going and have fun! (:

  4. I'll bet the readathon DOES seem boring when you're reading school books! Frankly, I sometimes get bored by it even when I read what I want to read. It's a bit too much like work when I feel like I have to force myself to read non-stop. Good luck with the school project!

  5. brave chickens, I did very well in my MOCK exams, so I just hope that I get that kind of results from the actual exams as well. I need to get 30 points to get to the university I want to go to, and according to MOCKs I got way over that.

Lisa, I agree with you. I could read the whole time if I just had nothing to do afterwards. But now I still have this theatre project I need to return on Monday, so I need to make the finishing touches for that.

Thanks for the cheering guys! (:
